Lori started her career with the Federal Highway Administration in 1985 after receiving her BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and spent her initial two and a half years on a national training program with them where she gained experience in the Federal Highway Aid Program, the Federal Highway Lands Divisions, the National Environmental Policy Act, AASHTO, and TRB. Two of her assignments on this training program were in the Rhode Island and Georgia Division offices where she received training and experience in how FHWA oversight worked with those State DOTs. She also spent one assignment in the Headquarters Office of FHWA in Washington, DC, where she worked in the Design Office and updated various sections of the AASHTO Green Book for future editions. Finally she worked on two assignments on construction in both the Eastern Direct Lands and Central Direct Lands Offices in Tennessee and Colorado gaining experience in all facets of construction and construction inspection to include: design, surveying, materials inspection and testing, and estimates. On her permanent assignment in the FHWA Georgia Division office, Lori oversaw the construction of the Talmadge Memorial Bridge, the first cable stay bridge in Georgia, and most of the interstate reconstruction and widening in the Atlanta Metropolitan area (I-285, the downtown connector through Atlanta and south to the Atlanta Airport, the I-75/I-85/I-20 Interchange, I-20 east and west of Atlanta, the opening of the initial HOV lanes prior to the Atlanta Olympics), which included the approval of the NEPA documents and the approval of the Final Design prior to construction lettings.

Currently KEA Group has offices in Atlanta, Georgia; Chipley, Jacksonville, and Tampa, Florida. KEA Group believes that quality projects require focused project management practices performed consistently by our professional staff. Our staff has the eagerness to listen and respond to our clients’ needs and request. We strive to provide innovate solutions to real world problems.
